That's why Convatec created Mouldable Technology, a skin barrier technology that is one of our many unique products - after a 2 month follow up, 95% of patients who started with a Convatec Mouldable Baseplate had healthy skin1.

Irritation and damage to the soft urethral tissue can allow bacteria to colonize the space created2,3 potentially causing discomfort and bleeding and leading to a higher chance of getting UTIs.4,5

Independent research at Queen’s University Belfast has proven that these catheters do not stick, protecting the delicate urethra,4 the body's first line of defence against UTIs.6
